Hope and Mango showers in Summer

I completed another page in my journal.

At the moment,
my mind is full of

hope and a sense of thankfulness for all the blessings

  I have in life.
A reaction, dear reader, of  having just begun reading Robin Sharma,
the popular author of 'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari'

Needless to say, it got reflected in what I painted!
So, let me show you

my 'Blessed Hope' page...

Paint smudges became two yellow birds.

Another paint smudge seemed to look like a tiny fairy hovering nearby...

Blessed Hope

Let me share with you something from what I read,

“it is only when you have mastered the art of loving yourself that you can truly love others.

it's only when you have opened your own heart

that you can touch the hearts of others." Robin Sharma

 Hope

that remained after Pandora opened her box of woes,
still gives us the will to live on.

As I am typing these words in,
summer rains are cooling the city.
They are called 'mango showers' it seems
because they hasten the ripening of these fruits!
When the sky looks like this,
we can expect good mangoes, I guess!

A basket of green mangoes waits me.
Wondering whether to pickle, curry or keep them for ripening....

Write in , please, my dear readers.
And, a BIG thank you for your great response to my last post. :-)
I have linked to Paint Party Friday, here .
