New pages from my art journal and SriLankan pictures.

I have some new work from my art journal this week.
I used gouache, acrylic, oil pastels and gold paint.

Hope and light

Light over there...

There are times when life seems so dark and hopeless, but always, there is some light that brings a glimmer of hope to give us meaning to live on.
There is light over there somewhere for all of us.

Now, a bit of fun from me, a plate of raisins.
With my raisins that needed sun drying,
I made this raisin face, and, looking at his naughty face,
I decided to call him,
Kismis Keshav. :-)
Hi to you all from me, Kismis Keshav!!

I love basking in the sun, lookin up at the clouds!
Ok, now I gotta tell you, my dear readers,
about an old camera that was gifted to me by an uncle of mine.
Surprise, surprise!
It had antique pictures of these lovely Sri Lankan ladies of a bygone era.
I loved their graceful poses and their LOVELY jewellery!
Look!

The rickshaw was pulled by the man.

Snake charmers conference, I suppose!

She's the prettiest, isn't she?

Before I end this post,
let me give you a quick look
at the painting I am  working on.
Have to add the words to it.
So, here's cheerios from me for the moment!
Hope you enjoyed the post.
Don't forget to let me know your thoughts and impressions because
it keeps me going!
