Child at heart
Going with the color scheme of black and white, I just played to my hearts content.
I cut a white, cloth grocery bag and after sticking some newspaper, dabbed black and white paint.
Using a marker, I drew in the picture of this little girl. I added some hand stitching and some machine stitches.
She was speaking to me right from the start.
"Hi!" said the little one with a smile, " Do you want to come to my playroom?"
"Why yes, of course!"
The playroom was full of little dolls and a cute tiny cupboard that had an orange tea set.
I just loved her room!
"Would you like some tea?"
I had tea and biscuits with her.
"I have to go now" I said reluctantly as I walked out of the playroom.
" Call me whenever you want to play" she said "My pic is there on the living room shelf. You just have to look at it and I will be with you."
Living room shelf? Where?
I looked in my house and sure enough, there she was!
Wait a minute...that is ME!!
As a little girl smiling back at me!
I had found my own self.
A child at heart!
