In the land of Imagination

My response to  Challenge Four of Artists inBlogland
made me think of  ‘Security’ and  stepping out of its protective shade to challenge ourselves or at least do things we have never done before.

I used to feel very secure in my parents love or in a warm hug by loved ones.

Life does not always guarantee us these things and when I had to stop expecting such things or, I guess, even when I had these comforts, always, “Imagination”, yes, the world of imagination unfailingly makes me feel most secure.

Imagination lets us be carefree, playful, and colorful in an unrestrained nonjudgmental way.

Childlike joy is the gift of imagination, and in my life, I have come to give a lot of importance to it.

Like playing in a garden of lush green trees and flowers aplenty…

Like Spirits of Joy , dancing freely midst the garlands…

Which brings me to my painting …hmm…what shall I call it?

Garden of Garlands?

I hear the sound of the wind through the banana trees.

I smell the scent of the blossoms in the air as the Wise Ones sing and dance in abandon!

“Letting go gives us freedom and freedom is the only condition for happiness.”
