Undead yet.

In slumber

I forget

My own self.

a place beneath the earth

Deep beneath

These dark trees

Whose roots mesh

Round me,

In closer tangles,

I still smile,

ink, watercolor

Lying in my

Red tomb,

Remembering,

The blue sky

I once saw.

  8. What came first? Picture or poem? :-) I like them both. The clear design of figures gets symbolic. It happens that I write and paint too (though it is more painting than writing), maybe you come and visit my blog some day?

Just perfect. I love how you used a simple, limited colour palette for the art.
