Buddham saranam gacchami.

The colors on week five at Kristin's SoC are, Candy Apple Red and Yellow.

My Buddha is done in those colors, using acrylic paints on 8"x 8.5" mounted canvas.

The process of drawing, painting the serene face of the Buddha somehow brought a feeling of awe and quiet in me although it was quite a hectic week.

I bow to the Buddha,

Namo buddham sharanam gacchami.

Wishing all of you a happy weekend!

  14. Oh Zafaran I am in love with your work, and I see we are both in love with Rumi! I think my last two posts were with poetry by Rumi (perhaps on my other blog shadowsideart.blogspot.ca I don't remember.) I love coming to your site. It is so soulful and so of the heart. Your work appears to be so guided by Spirit and so of the ONE. I really love that. The emptying that happens when I am at your blog is magically real, and I know you know what that means in our existential world. Thanks for continually supplying a world Zafaran that means something to people who live outside the box, such as myself. Lovies, Samara
