Happiness - An inside job !

After few weeks of postponing writing and posting, I feel happy to be back to my little space and happier that I have been doing all that I really enjoy!

Yes, you have guessed correctly, drawing, painting, my new hobby – making jewelry and also, doubtlessly, being lazy too!

I was missing my blog and all of you so much that here I am with some of my recent pencil sketches. It is part of my learning process, like my yoga class.

My mother could dance beautifully even at sixty three, and all my clumsy life I have never been able to dance or even learn a step, so,  in my yoga class when I do the ‘asanas’ I am really ecstatic! Not that I am anywhere near perfect!!

I read a quote on pinterest the other day, " Happiness is an inside job" William Arthur Ward.
So true!

These days I have become busier as I have taken up teaching at the university in addition to my usual classes and though my trip to Bangkok was just last month, it seems way back! I wanted to share this wayside sculpture that I saw outside a mall in Bangkok with all of you.

Do you like the expression on her face?

Lovely masks I saw in Colombo.

Have a happy weekend!

Sharing with my friends on CED, AJED, PPF, Sunday Sketches.
