Love and "What if..."

“’What’ and ‘if’ are two words as non-threatening as words can be, but put them together side by side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life.”

Letters to Juliet, the movie that I watched is definitely not for the unromantic, and, as I don’t fit in with unsentimental, pragmatic sort, I hopelessly loved the movie!

A heartbreak note written to Juliet reunites lovers fifty years later!

Love is indeed the most invaluable possession of all and as they say in the movie, If it was true then, why wouldn’t it be true now? You need only the courage to follow your heart.”

Love is as simple and beautiful as these words,

“Doubt thou stars are fire
Doubt that the sun doth move
Doubt truth be a liar
But, never doubt I love”

The lovely Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero love story, marrying as they did forty years after falling in love with each other, seems as magical as the theme of Letters to Juliet.  I want to visit Verona and the wall of Juliet so much after seeing this movie.

I turned to my journal to express the feeling of how precious is love and life bereft of love is no life!

I used wooden blocks to create the base layer and painted over it. Love is peace.

  2. You do hands so well! They're so much harder to draw than faces.
And now I have a new movie to go watch - it sounds like a really lovely romance :)
