Paris panache!

What do you want most to do? That is what I have to keep asking myself, in the face of difficulties.

Katherine Mansfield.

I have not travelled much, so when I read or see pictures of distant places,
I imagine myself in those places and go on journeys by myself.
In my imagination, I have been to places like Greece, Rome, Venice…

One place that I would love to visit is Paris.

Therefore, this time, growing wings, my journal page set off to Paris in an excited flight!
Come, with me on this journey of complete fun. Forget cares, worries...let us just enjoy… Ok?

First sight of Paris for me is (would be ) magical!

(Pic from google)
Montmarte...and all those artists! ( google pic)

Street side cafes! ( google)

Musee d' Orsay restaurant. ( google)

Shop for vintage souvenirs like this one which has Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacré Coeur de Montmartre, L'Arc De Triumphe, Opera House and the Hotel Des Invalides linked together!! ( google.)

A treasure house of a bookstore! Shakespeare and Company! (google pic)

That Paris exists and anyone could choose to live anywhere else in the world will always be a mystery to me.
Adriana in Midnight in Paris

Yes, yes..I do live far, far away from this inspiring city, but I will perhaps be able to visit it one day! After all dreaming never hurt anyone, right?
And, now, my own page,

Paris! Here I come!

Ecstatic!

An artist has no home in Europe, except in Paris!

Friedrich Nietzsche

Don't you agree? Do you all have special, distant places that you feel you MUST visit?

  3. Great photos. I've been lucky to have been to Paris on various occasions as I have all my relatives on my Mom's side living in France. Your ecstatic page is just beautiful and captures the dream so well. Creating a page of a dream destination is wonderful-it's putting it out there in the universe and what's to say it won't one day happen? My dream place (tho I have many) especially is Ireland and yes, I have put it out there by creating a journal page. I've enjoyed reading all your quotes too.Thank you for sharing.

  11. You know I feel really bad because although I've been to Paris three times, I've never really 'done' Paris. The first time I was just passing through and only had an afternoon and evening (managed the Eifel Tower!). Next two times I was working. I don't even live that far away - just a few hours by train. I really should go. I want to go!! You are inspiring me to go!
Love the ecstatic dance as they celebrate their arrival in the beautiful city.
