Breaking the loud silence - sketches.

"Let the beauty of what you love be what you do."  Rumi.

“Beyond the edge of the world there’s a space where emptiness and substance neatly overlap, where past and future form a continuous, endless loop. And, hovering about, there are signs no one has ever read, chords no one has ever heard.” Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore.

“Artists are those who can evade the verbose.” Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore.

"Silence, I discover, is something you can actually hear." Haruki Murakami

And, yes, breaking this loud silence on my blog, here I am - with these quirky little sketches on my current favorite sketchbook, The Telephone Directory! ;-)
Few health concerns kept me away from my blog and linking up with my lovely artist friends on PPF and AJED, CED
Each week that went by without writing on my blog, I felt bad, and I realized that sooner than later, I must update you all with some of the work I have been doing.
All sketches are pen and a lil bit of markers.
Hope you enjoy these and Haruki Murakami quotes whose book, Kafka On The Shore is finding favor wth me right now!
:-)

  1. Amazing sketches and I love your use of the phone book (even more special because it is from India). Your typewriter is priceless. Happy PPF
